WHAT IS THE PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THIS DOCUMENT?
This Participant Privacy Notice ("Notice") describes how Trailblazer Events, LLC, a subsidiary of Beast Industries, process the personal information we collect about participants in certain of our productions and events (collectively, the "Productions") when you visit websites associated with Productions ("Websites").
In this Notice, we will use the terms "MrB", "we", "us" and "our" to refer to the Trailblazer Events, LLC brand that is producing the show or other content that you may appear in.
It is important that you read this Notice, together with any other terms, releases and notices that we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal information about you, so that you are aware of how and why we are using such information. If there are third parties involved in the Production who have collected your personal information directly from you, they may use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices, which you should also read.
We may update this Notice at any time, for example to reflect changes in our processing activities or to meet new legal requirements, and will alert you that changes have been made by indicating on the Notice the date it was last updated unless otherwise required by law. You can find the date of the last update at the top of the Notice.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect personal information about you through our casting process and through your participation in the Production and related activities, either directly from you or from your representative. When you visit our website, certain personal data is automatically collected from you. We may also collect personal information about you from third parties authorized by you or from other research or information gathering we conduct, including via social media and other publicly available sources.
Please see below for the kinds of personal information we may collect about you. The information and usage described within the Notice may be supplemented via agreements with you.
- Contact Information, such as name, address, telephone numbers and email addresses, pertaining to you and other individuals whose details you provide to us (such as your beneficiaries, emergency contacts, friends and family).
- Personal Background, Characteristics, and Related Information, which (depending on the Production and as permitted by law) may include your experiences, languages you speak, gender, background information (e.g., hometown, occupation), marital status, personal characteristics (e.g., date of birth, interests), military or veteran status, participation in insurgent or terrorist organizations, immigration and deportation details, past and current visa applications and status, disability, photos, social media handle(s), information about your country, family, friends and partners.
- Financial Information, such as bank account details if required for direct deposit, tax identifier and tax information.
- Audio, Electronic, Visual, and Similar Information, including videos you submit with your application and visual and sound recordings made in connection with the Production.
- Personal History Information, such as information we obtain when we perform background checks.
- Inferences drawn from your personal information that reflect your preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities, and aptitudes.
Some of the personal information we collect may be classified as sensitive personal information or special categories of personal data including:
- Medical and/or psychological assessment information (if applicable). For some Productions, we engage medical and psychological professionals to perform medical and/or psychological assessments of our participants, with their consent.
- Health information that you provide to us, including information about your physical or mental health or disability status.
- Passport number.
- Union/Guild membership information (if applicable), so we can comply with (or exercise rights under) collective bargaining agreements and other legal requirements.
- Demographic information (if applicable), such as racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, sexual orientation and identity.
- Information from a known child (if applicable), for example if you choose to let your child be featured in a Production.
When you visit the Websites, we may automatically collect data that is linked to your computer or device but does not directly identify you personally, including, IP address, the type of browser or device that you are using, referring and exit pages, domain and other system settings and operating system, as well as information regarding how you interact with the Website including the date and time of your visits, links clicked, which pages you viewed on the Website, and the frequency of your visits to the Website.
Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
Consistent with most websites, we [and, in some cases our third-party service providers], use cookies and similar tracking technologies like pixels for different purposes, including to make our Website function properly, to run analytics and better understand how our Website is used, to count the number of visitors, and to learn how the Website may be improved. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We may use the personal data we collect for the following purposes:
- To process your application to participate in a Production, including assessing your interest, ability, eligibility and qualifications,
- To learn your story as we cast, produce and promote our Production and related marketing and advertising content.
- To tell your story as part of the Production (with our permission).
- To ensure meaningful equal opportunity and diversity and inclusion monitoring and reporting in compliance with legal requirements, and if required for casting purposes.
- To protect your health and safety and that of other people involved in the Production.
- To verify the information provided by the participants and for reputational purposes.
- To assess your fitness to participate in the Production and provide certain accommodations.
- To ensure that the Production is appropriately insured.
- To comply with (or exercise rights under) legal or contractual obligations.
- To communicate with you and respond to your inquiries regarding a Production.
- To send you any prizes that you win from a Production.
- To maintain and improve our Website's performance, understand how the Website is used, and optimize your user experience with our Website.
- To provide you with information regarding our Productions, products, or services, events or news, or other developments that you request from us or that may be of interest to you.
- To market our products and services to you, including without limitation, by using analytics for marketing analysis and to analyze consumer behavior and to send more targeted marketing content to visitors of our Website.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, or others, including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
- To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
- To comply with the law, to seek legal advice from outside counsel or in connection with litigation with a third party, and to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines and contracts.
- To carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including without limitation to enforce or apply our Terms of Service or any other contract, such as for billing and collections.
- For testing, research, and analysis.
- To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal data held by us is among the assets transferred.
- For any other purpose you consent to when we collect the data.
WHO IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION DISCLOSED TO?
We may disclose each category of personal information listed above with people within MrB and/or our affiliates in order to carry out the purposes described in this Notice. These may include people within functions such as production operations, development, labor, physical production, programming and marketing, ad sales, legal and production finance. We put in place controls to restrict access to your more sensitive information (e.g. health, psychological and financial information, if any) to appropriate personnel.
We may also disclose each category of personal information listed above with the following categories of recipients as needed to operate our business, to respond to your request, or fulfill a business or commercial purpose:
- Service Providers: We may share information with third parties who help us with a Production including transport and security providers, medical professionals, background check providers, form submission platforms, agencies that manage contestant application and selection processes, email and document management, marketing providers, website management providers and other production service providers.
- Other production staff or companies involved with the Production: We may share information with other production staff or companies in order to develop and produce the Production.
- Distribution, Publicity, Advertising, and Marketing partners: We may share aspects of your story with potential and existing distribution, publicity, advertising and marketing partners in order to distribute and promote the Production and related advertising and marketing content.
- Viewers: Your personal information that is included in the Production and related promotional and digital materials will be seen by viewers.
- Other disclosures: Generally, MrB shares personal information other than as described above as follows: to a third party when we believe in good faith that it is necessary to investigate fraud, To law enforcement, governmental agencies, or regulatory bodies when required to do so by law, regulation, or court order or in response to a legitimate request for assistance by a law enforcement agency; to a buyer or other successor of our business in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, and to our external lawyer to seek legal advice or in connection with litigation with a third party.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We maintain organizational, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect the information we collect and use. These safeguards vary depending upon a variety of factors including the sensitivity of the information we collect and use. Despite all reasonable practices, no security method is infallible.
RETAINING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will keep your personal information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including as business records reasonably retained in the normal course of business; to respond to any questions, complaints or claims that may be made by you or on your behalf; to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce other applicable contracts and policies; and to satisfy legal, accounting and reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for participant personal information, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the personal information, the purposes for which we process the personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes in other ways, the applicable legal requirements and our legitimate interests. For example, we will keep certain information about former participants (e.g., name, role in the Production) for as long as necessary for our legitimate interests in keeping this information as part of our production records and to comply with any applicable legal obligations.
YOUR CHOICES
You are not obligated to provide us your information. However, if the information is necessary for your application and participation in the Production, to reply to your requests, or answer your questions, we may not be able to assist you without it.
Email Marketing: You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in the communications we send you or by contacting us via email at [email protected]. You also may reply to any email you receive from us asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt-out does not apply to data provided to us as part of your participation in a Production.
Cookies and other Technology: You can set your browser to remove or reject cookies through your browser controls which are often found in your browser's "Tools" or "Preferences" menu, but doing so may limit certain functionalities on the Website. The exact process required to opt out depends on the type of browser and/or device you are using. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you reside, you may have certain rights in relation to your personal data under applicable privacy laws.

We reserve the right to deny or restrict fulfillment of your request in certain cases, such as when your access to personal data places another individual's privacy rights at risk, or the continued processing or your personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation. If so, we will notify you of the reason(s) for this denial.
You or your authorized agent may have the right to appeal a decision denying your request and can do so by contacting us using the information provided above in the section How to Contact Us.
You may designate someone else to submit a request on your behalf as your authorized agent. Your agent may need to provide supporting documentation to make the request on your behalf. Targeted Behavioral Advertising
The way that we and third parties use cookies and other tracking technologies to show you ads about our products on other websites, applications, and online services may be considered targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising under certain US privacy laws. While we do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense, (i.e., in exchange for money), our disclosure to third parties for advertising and analytics purposes may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under these laws. We do not use your personal information to create a profile or for automated decision making that could produce a legal or significant effect on you.

We do not sell personal information, share personal information, or engage in automated processing activities that evaluate characteristics about you, and have not done so in the twelve months prior to the effective date of this notice.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require us to offer you a right to limit the use of your sensitive personal information.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
Notice to Washington and Nevada Residents
If you are a resident of Washington or Nevada and we collect information about you that relates to your physical or mental health status, you may receive a separate privacy notice that applies to the collection and processing of your consumer health data.
EEA, UK, OR SWITZERLAND PRIVACY DISCLOSURES
Under the laws of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, certain data we collect is considered to be "personal data." We may have certain obligations, and you may have certain rights with respect to this data.
International Transfer
MrB is a [United States company headquartered in the United States] and most of the data we collect is processed in the United States.
